The pump cover is a structural component of the slurry pump wet-end assembly. It works together with the pump casing to form a sealed pumping chamber where slurry is transported under pressure.
It plays an important role in maintaining internal pressure stability and ensuring safe operation of the pump system. The pump cover also provides access for inspection and maintenance of internal wear parts.
In mining, coal washing, and mineral processing applications, the pump cover is exposed to continuous slurry impact and must maintain both structural strength and sealing performance.
